Fettucine Alfredo!

Make a basic white sauce with 2 tbsps. flour and the same of butter. (Melt butter first and mix in flour. Cook over medium heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly, to make a roux.)

Take pan off the heat and GRADUALLY add a pint of milk and a cup of cream, a tiny bit at a time, stirring all the lumps out before you add more. Add oregano, basil, a generous tsp. of minced garlic, and 1/2 a cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Return pan to heat and stir constantly until sauce thickens and bubbles. (Add a little more milk if too thick.)

Serve over hot fettucine or linguine noodles. Perfetto!

I would go for a flavored rice or pasta that has broccoli in it. If that does not sound to appealing then try a nice leafy salad with some garlic bread. This meal sounds very good!

Throw mushrooms in with the garlic sauce and pour that over chicken.....you can do julienne vegatables - you know, add carrots and cauliflowers to the mix, make a salad with it, have some white wine....sounds lovely! Enjoy
