why is he purple? what psicological effect does that color have over kids? is it good or bad?

Barney is purple because dinosaurs were purple, duh. Except for the girl dinosaurs, they were green.

I guess he's strong purple, strong green and a strong yellow because are very contrast colours, so the kids think it's great.

my opinion is so that children can see the color purple and recognized i think it is good for them because they can distinguish the colors

should've used blue cause it has a calming effect. purple is a pretty color, tho.

the creators kids probably colored it for him/her. That or they just decided on olors and choose the two best ones.
