I have long, straight hair that is parted in the middle. I want something different to do with it but I have no ideas. I don't want to cut it shorter than my shoulders. I thought about layering it, but thats boring also. I am looking for websites or ideas. Thanks for your suggestions!

Well, you've pretty much ruled out any changes to your hair. Unless you're willing to change the style, you're going to still be bored with it. Get a perm. Get layers. Invest in some cute accessories. Cut it short. Change the color dramatically. There are so many different things you can do with long, straight hair, that you shouldn't ever be bored with it.

Bobby pins can be used to pin back the sides of your hair for a cute look. Aveeda has a product called so straight that makes your hair look silky smooth when straight. Bending your head over and spraying hairspray underneath can give your hair a boost in volume and keep it straight.

i might recommend having it layerd at a salon. and then in keeping with risk having your hair permed. Curls come natural to my head so if you want a curly look go buy some Garnier Fructis Style Curl Construct and use a diffuser to dry and u have the curl scrunch look. =]

dont bother getting it cut. just buy "curl look" LA Looks gel. after you shower, put in the gel and scrunch your hair a little. it willl become wavy and not straight and boring. trust me i have suffered from straight, boring hair before.

get lots of them to add depth and maybe some bangs or a face frame to show off your face
layering is not boring when you have a bunch of them in lots of different lengths

You should add volume to it. Use a volumizing shampoo that doesn't have too many ingredients in it. The use conditioner. Then blow dry your hair upside down. or you can flip it out with a straightning iron.
