Get my boyfriend to communicate with me. We have been together for 5 months now and I have never heard "I like being with you" or "im happy" or ANYTHING like that out of his mouth without prying it out of him. I will maybe hear you're pretty like once a month or so. When I ask him why he doesn't talk to me like that he says it is the wrong time to bring up that conversation. I feel these things (emotions) coming from him, and all of his friends say that he absolutely loves me to death so I don't understand why he can tell them that and not me. I'm not expecting him to tell me he loves me either, just a little verbal reassurance would be nice from time to time.I know what you are thinking... What are they like 15? NOPE!!! We are in our mid 20's!!! He is by far the best BF I have EVER had too.

I get what you're saying. A little reassurance is great from time to time, but if he's not the type that feel comfortable saying stuff like that, I wouldn't really push it. Just let him know it makes you feel really special when he talks to you.
Plus, isn't it a lot more important to look at the stuff he does for you instead of what he says?

It really is very simple. Usually you can decipher through our actions. What he does for you will give you your reassurance. He may just not be a very verbal emotional guy.
