Most manure, usually hauled from a feed lot or barn is spread with a tractor attachment specifically made for that purpose into fields.
Chicken manure is so high in nitrogen that it can be mixed with grain and fed to cows but that practice is forbidden in the US. In the US there must be a plant "link" between manure and animal feed for animals intended for human consumption.

Muck spreading in farming. Usually the manure is left to break down before using on pastures and growing land, expecially potatoes. If it is too hot (fresh) it can scald the seedlings.
Fire material: In India, cow pats which have dried out are used for making fires for cooking etc.

I used to muck stalls & we'd use it to fertilize. I grew up hearing waste not, want not too. lol
