Speaking with a friend online and she said that girls love guys who enjoy listening. That's not true right? Girls don't prefer guys who listen to guys who don't? Why am I still single then?

I dont' know why you're still single. If you're a listener, that's good. But there are a lot of other reasons why girls like guys. Are you kind, funny, generous, educated/knowledgeable, protective?
You just haven't met the right one yet! Don't worry. You will.

Women prefer guys who listen interactively... there's a big difference between sitting silently while she prattles on and having an interchange with a person who feels similarly.
In addition, your suitability as a potential mate and your eligibility for Nice Guy of the Year are not mutually exclusive. Which just means that if you're still single, it's because you haven't found the Right One... or the one you decided was right even though you could kind of see that her eventual path would be to your ruin. =)

girls love good listeners but there are two kinds of listeners. Which one are you? 1 listens but tends to lose concentration to what is actually being said. and 2 is a person that really listens and gives feedback and really enjoys the conversation.

Its true sweetie, it is very important for a guy to listen to you. But it dosen't do you any good to listen if you're not HEARING what the girl is saying. Listening is just catching the words, hearing is understanding. And if you can find a guy that understands you, than that's the one you want.

Absolutely women want guys who listen. Nothing bugs me more than referring to something I said only for him to say "huh?" Doesn't mean he has to hang on my every word, but for Pete's sake, pay attention. As for why you're still single, who knows? There are a lot more factors than just how well you listen.

Girls like guys who listen and give feedback when they're talking. The ydon't want someone who will just sit there and be silent, but they don't want some guy with ADD who just can't pay attention to anything she's saying.
A nice mix. Somone who enjoys converstaion - but not just about themself.

girls who take the non-listener guys is because they settled, it's rare to find such a treasure as a guy who listens. We prefer guys who listen because it's important, communication. However someone has to take the left over scraps!

Yes, we do, A man who doesnt listen to you doesnt have any respect for your feelings. Men love to talk and want their woman to hang on their every word but these same men tune out after they heard 3 words from their lady, then they wonder why women get mad, why they never know what is going on and why women leave them for a man who listens.
