It will go much easier on you if you tell your parents and go to the appointment. Work with the police and the school to try to resolve your problems. You might be arrested, but they will almost for sure release you right back to your parents instead of sending you to jail or juvenile hall -- arrest just means that they brought you in, talked to you, and decided what needs to be done about the situation (maybe with a judge's supervision). It is not the same as being charged or being convicted.
They probably won't toss you in jail or juvenile hall if you honestly try to work with them to improve your attendance in school and take care of business -- they are already burdened with too many people in there so if there's a decent chance that they can help turn your life around and keep you out of jail by being stricter with you now, they will do it. And that's a good thing for you, chances are that you need to learn a little more self discipline and self control (I did too at your age. its normal). And yeah I know High School and home life can really suck sometimes (mine did), but you can overcome this -- a real man toughs it out and gets the job done and moves on. If you buck the system too much, you only screw yourself over in the long run.
Don't worry about what the police will do when you show up (if you don't show up, they will find you anyway and it will get worse for you not better). The police are not the final authority here, it is the judge legally, the pricipal at school, and your parents at home. You want to prove to them all that you know you made some mistakes and are trying to improve. Yeah, you screwed up by ditching class -- that will carry a penalty, and you just need to be a man and take it and learn from it. Once you turn 18 it will come off your record (except for the military -- if you enlist you still need to tell them about it 'cuz they can and will find out anyway).
The people I knew in High School who did NOT wise up and stop being rebels or trouble makers, all spent most of the rest of their adult lives in jail. Jail sucks, you don't want any part of it. The good newsis, YOU have control over your own life through self-control, and you are young enough now to gain that control and make a difference in your own life. Learn to control and disciplne yourself, and you control your destiny.

If you go to the police station voluntarily it looks better on your part. Being a juvenile, you have to take your parents anyway. As far as you, yourself, if you didn't mess up last year....you wouldn't be in trouble now! So, my advice to you....is, not to mess up again. Education is very important, high school diploma isn't enough anymore to get some where in life. Tight in up Dude. Your parents are the only ones you have...they have a right to know. By your grammar and spelling...you need to be in school as much as possible.

Show up for the appointment with your parents. I don't believe that they will arrest you but you will have to something for the nasty attendance in school. Let me say this you are way too young to be messing up in school. Let this year be different than the last one. Go because the longer you ignore this the worst it will be for you and your parents.

You need to show up with your parents, if you don't the proceedings will occur without you and very likely sentence you to correctional school for poor school attendance.
If you show up with your parents and show remorse, and a willingness to improve your attendance then you have a chance of remaining free. If you have any evidence to show you missed school for a good reason bring it.
It costs the school money every day a child is not in school, they get paid about 3 or 4 thousand dollars a year per child , (that is just one incentive for them to crack down).
This is serious.

In general, when this happens, the warrant can be quashed if you keep your bureaucratic appointments. Be sure to take with enough money for fines; depending on how full the local clink is you could spend overnight in the grey-bar hotel.

Of course you go, and of course you tell your parents. If you don't show up voluntarily you will end up in a lot more trouble than you're in now and could also subject your parents to sanctions also. Face up to it now and it won't be as bad as you're imagining it will be.
