I have two beautiful babies( as you can see). A 28 month old, and a 9 month old. I have always had a separation issue with both of them and I constantly worry about them. Any other parents have tips on learning to trust the right people. By this I mean my daycare provider, and family members. I know that I can trust them, but it I can not help this feeling of worry...

I am a single mother and therefore am the only source of income, so although I would LOVE to stay home, it is not possible.

I have known my daycare provider for over 6 years and she has been licenced for over 10 years. (Her oldest son was my highschool sweetheart so we are like family.)We are very open with communication regarding my children.

OUR CHILDREN ARE OUR LIVES. YOU ARE PERFECTLY ALLOWED TO WORRY ABOUT THEM IN ANY SITUATION. BUT, I THINK THAT IN YOUR SITUATION MAYBE THAT YOUR CHILDREN ARE YOUR LIFE SINCE THERE IS NO FATHER IN THE PICTURE. BEEN THERE DONE THAT- IF IT HADN'T BEEN FOR MY 2Y/O AT THE TIME, I THINK THAT I WOULD HAVE CHECKED OUT AFTER MY DIVORCE. I THINK THAT YOU SOUND LIKE A GREAT MOTHER AND THE DAYCARE SITUATION SOUNDS IDEAL. PRAY FOR GOD TO PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN AND RAISE THEM WITH SELF CONFIDENCE AND YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN WILL BOTH SUCCEED GOOD LUCK!

You are a single mom, how about getting child support from the father? That way maybe you could get a part time job. As for the other problems you simply have to trust that day care providers are there because they have expierence in child care and know what they are doing. If you've checked several out and have decided what would be best for your children then you go with that. Nope it's not easy but after the first couple of weeks it will seem like you've been doing it forever.

Be sure to leave your children some place where you can check on them anytime you want. Make sure if you do not know them that they are licensed day care provider and have CPR and a fence, plenty of help and then maybe leave for a short period the first few times to build your trust up. You are a good parent and your concern is good but can be hard also on you.

- There is nothing wrong with this. It's natural as parents to protect our child. I'd never leave my kids with someone if any part of me thought that they may be unsafe. Ever. Make sure you trust their caregiver 110%. Leave them alone for short periods of time so that they get used to knowing that "mommy is coming back." Then as you & them both become more comfortable with this, you can leave them for longer periods of time. I always check my kids for marks no matter what when they get home. Any signs of grabbing or hurting them & never will they return. If your childs personality gets intraverted, there is something wrong. Just watch for signs. You are a good mother. Go with your gut, always. I have 2 & another on the way & I am the same way as you. It gets a little easier but you'll never feel absoluely fine with someone else having your kids.

There is one person you can trust and that is you stay home with them. With what limited information I have of you that is my best advise.
