I've had a headache thats lasted all day. Its not my whole head, its just the front-left side, and its only when I move kinda-fast or swallow food or drink, and when its bright (light sensitive).

Yes, I do suffer from allergies. I've had them pretty bad for the past few days, I guess it could be sinus headache, but I dont usually have a headache like this. So I wouldn't know.

Sounds like it.
I've had one before where I was light sensitive, felt really weird, weirdest headache I ever had, lasted all day. I wasn't bed-ridden or anything but I'm sure it was a migraine.

I'm pretty sure there are different types of migraines. Every once in a while I get ocular (having to do with the eyes) migraines. I can tell I'm getting one before the pain even sets in. My vision gets really funky...looks like little white squiggles in front of my eyes and tunnel vision...can only see one letter of a word. After the vision clears, the pain hits. It's an allover pain. Makes me nonfunctional. No lights, no sound, no heat. I am in bed AC on full blast in summer and the windows wide open in the winter, cold rag on my head, and a bucket VERY close by. God help me if I'm not at home when one hits. I've never been professionally diagnosed but my mother suffered and so did my brother and both are doctors. If I take something like Excedrin Migraine well before the pain hits it can greatly help. I can then at least function. I usually have a residual headache the next day but it is manageable as long as I dobend over very much. Bending the head down make the blood rush and the head gets poundy until you are upright again. You can also get generic meds...make sure the ingredients contain aspirin, acetopinophen, and CAFFEINE. The caffeine constricts the blood vessels that go to your head. Don't over-medicate though! You will be painfree but that is another whole kettle of fish.

I get migraines. A classic migraine is located on the right side, mostly to the side and back of the head, not to say that yours isn't a migraine. There is a constant pounding, usually distorted vision, I get awful tunnel vision, sensitivity to light and sounds is common. Also there can be nausea. I get dry heaves with my migraines - just what you want when your head is pounding. I can always tell when one is coming on because my hands start to go numb first, and then the vision problems will start usually within 20 minutes. So, I have an opportunity to get home if I am out and about and have to drive. They can last for an hour or for days. I may get 2 in one week, and then none for a year. Only your dr. can tell you for sure if that is what you have, but once you have experience one, you will know for sure.

Sounds like it may be a migrain but it could also be a sinus headach, depending how far it is around torward the eye. Being light sensitive, it does sound more like a migrain. Hurting only when you move your head or swallow doesn't sound like a migraine. Might ought to get it checked out by a good doctor. Pops

Yes it is called a cluster headache. It is a migrane. Cluster headaches stay on one side of the face. I have them and mine are on the left side. When I feel the pressure on the left side of my head, I take two pain relievers (tylenol). If I can head it off before it gets bad it will go away.
Now, saying all that. Sometimes this doesn't work with all people. If you continue to have them contact a doctor. The causes can be barometric pressure changes ( I notice just before it rains that this occurs with me) and hormonal changes.
So you may need to see a doctor.

It could be related to your sinuses, like a sinus infection or sinusitus. When things are bad, that's what happens! Does your nose feel clogged up? Do you suffer from alergies?
