I have IBD. It goes either way, usually the wrong way! There is NO real true remedy, but some foods may help relieve some of the symptoms of this miserable disease. Diet overall is a big factor! Peppermint, chamomile, and fennel can prevent pain, spasms, and bloating better than some drugs. I drink peppermint tea on occassions, seems to calm things down a bit. Anyways, sign-up for newsletters. Some information may or may not help you.

A friend of mine has had Chrohn's Disease for many years which is one of the many IBD's and the only thing that works for her is the very expensive Remicade treatment which has to be administered intravenously every few months or so. All the natural stuff didn't work for her. Ask your doctor for suggestions or go to a homeopathic MD for a diagnosis and recommendation.
