My boyfriend told me on different occasions that I should gain some weight and when I say what? he goes like 'I dont wanna be the only overweight person'! I just don't understand, is he saying this because he thinks I'm too skinny or is he just kidding?! He looks like he's kidding when he says that but it has happend more than once. I wonder if this is a way to tell me that I should gain weight! BTW I'm not skinny, I'm 5'4 and I weigh 127 pounds which I think is too much!!

your boyfriend is selfish if he wants you to gain weight so hes got company with that. Some guys want their girls to gain weight so other guys dont find them attractive and they cant get jealous. Am not saying thats what hes doing, but i find it really strange that he isnt happy with the way you are. Also, you are not too heavy! be happy with yourself!

If he's telling you to lose weight then tell him he needs to lose weight. Girl you need to find a man that will love you for who you are, forever no matter what. Because that guy tells you to lose weight is because he feels insecure about himself and I think he's embarresed because he's a little overweight and your not, but he should be comfortable with it. You should talk to him about it.
Well good luck and I hope you get everything worked out.

You sound like you are at a perfectly healthy weight. The next time he tells you to gain, tell him to lose weight! I've had a few guys tell me to "put a little meat on my bones" and it never fails to irritate me. If it bugs you, tell him so!

Yeah you need to loose 5-7 pounds. I am 5.4, 118-122po. Its perfect. Don't ever listen to him and get fat. He is not good for you. People put messages in you subconsiously to.. make sure you do worst so they look better.. run.

do not alter your physical appearance for your boyfriend. if the problem was reversed and you looked like nicole richie, then i would say there is validation for his remark. if he insists, tell him you will gain the weight when he gains the inches down 'there'

wel i dnt really think ur bf was joking bout that, it seems tht he's so concious, bout he's weight n not feeling confortable w/ it sns 2 him ur so skinny, n myb he thinks tht u might loose interest in him cz his fat, n he thinks tht he dnt really turn u own, n u might be looking 4 sm1 else rather thn him, sm1 who's much skinnier than him.. u need to talk to him bout tht, n tell him 'bout hw u really feel bout him, even though he thnks tht he's fat.. it seems tht he really loves u n ds not want to loose u.. He has to be joking--he really can't be serious! If he is then your boyfriend has some problems there with his self image and needs to do something about himself.

Perhaps that is way of assuring himself that other men will not check you out? If it is.....he has some real control/self esteem issues!
