The receiver is already built in. Just call XM and turn on the radio push the SAT button give them the radio ID# and credit information and away you will go. If the radio does not give you an ID# there might be a box and antennia necessay. Why didn't you sign up for the first three months free when you got the car? Takes about ten minutes with the car outside not under a building or parking structure.

No, the two are no longer nicely suited. you could purely use an XM receiver with XM and a Sirius receiver with Sirus. while/if the merger happens you will in all hazard nonetheless no longer be waiting to get the XM stations on the Sirius receiver, yet you need to be waiting to alter your subscription to the Sirius channels and then use the receiver.

Yeah, contact your dealer if you want it integrated into your factory radio. If you didn't purchase the option, or sign up for the free 3 months, then likely they need to install the Tuner module & possibly antenna.
