Do you mean your Cockatiel may be poisoned? If your bird is on the bottom of cage, fluffed up,breathing laboured, head to one side, then chances are he is very sick. Keep your bird VERY warm and quiet, see a vet urgently!!

Get your bird to A VET very quickly please. If this illness is a response to a bacterial infection from ingesting something, they will give him something like Diflucan or Baytril.
You have to be quick. Very often, birds don't show symptoms of illness until it is critical.
Now hurry up and get to a Vet.

Find a avian vet.. .and I hope Cocktail is it's name and that you have a Cockatiel. w/o details.. we're not going to be able to help. look in phone book, call a vet. ask if they know an AVIAN vet.. then call them! Tell them the details!

I guess you must mean cockatiel. I'm sorry, but without more details, you probably won't get much help on here. Take him to the vet. Sorry.

The bird will be listless, eyes will not be shiny. If not taken to the vet for steroid shots, it will die.
Please take it to the vet's immediately.
