May be going in March 2007 for 10 days. Found a nice chain hotel in BA to stay at. Maybe going to Patagonia. Any tips, warnings, great places to see and experience? Kinda nervous because I don't know the area at all.

Great trip in Patagonia. You don't have to speak spanish but it helps. Get a guide baook and you will be fine,

Not many people there - just awesome mountains, glaciers, icebergs, penguins, forrests. It can get cold - bring hat and gloves.

Very rural so don't expect 5 star hotels.

Lots of young tourists there. You will have fun.

BA is like Spain. Dont' sweat it.

Great food - king crab, goat, etc.

Buenos Aires is an incredible town; it's an amazing metropolis that appears a bit like Europe, but having an edgy Latin American twist and if you wish to visit this city then take a look with hotelbye . El Puerto Madero is just a place properly visited. It offered as the key dock of Buenos Aires through the late 19th century but know is changed into structures that might be used as residences, restaurants, stores and other companies and to offer this task a bit of sparkle, all roads in the region were called following women. Strolling through the Puerto Madero is a superb way to pay a pleasant day just like visiting El Obelisco. El Obelisco was built in 1936 to observe the 400th wedding of the town founding and now is a must-see place from Buenos Aires.

If you speak Spanish, no big deal. Believe me, it's better than Time Squares (nothing but huge ads/posters and lights)
