example I called Comcast to get the 99.00 special of internet phone, digital cable, and internet for 99.00. They told me that I was not capable of getting it because I was and existing customer! But I could get it for 150.00. I have never had the internet or the internet phone, so why dont they give me that for 33.00 each, and regular price for the basic cable. If I had my choice i would get DSL, and dish services but its hard when you live in an apartment. I am just curios to see how many out there have been told the same thing.

tell them you are going to dump them and switch to satallite, and DSL. They will bend over backwards to keep you as a customer, but you have to threaten to get rid of them first.

P.S. Just my feeling, but internet phone? no way!! If your internet goes down, or is slow, there goes your phone.

I received a flier in the mail literally 5 days after signing up for cable TV, that offered a new customer discount that was pretty good.
Comcast told me since I was not a new customer (I had only been a customer 5 days) they wouldn't give it to me. Their prices are too high to begin with, and they keep raising them yearly. It is time to go with someone else if they do.

Comcast is basically evil - they don't care at all for their customers (our cable went out in a hurricane and 3 calls and 3 weeks later they still hadn't sent anyone) - Direct TV or The Dish are much better...they try harder.

Yeah Comcast will do those types of things. You should switch to a satellite. Better service. You just need to check with you apartment manager to make sure it's okay. I have a lot of people in my apartment complex that subscribe to Direct TV.

Then do no longer pay it and don't have it - your selection. human beings pay the money, so why ought to they shrink it? furnish and insist, between the main hassle-free rules of economics. in case you could, you fee in accordance to what the marketplace will pay, no longer what it expenditures.
