Yes and No...many people have gone to the grave unmarried, childless, even as virgins! I do feel as though life does have something in store for everyone, weather it's with someone else involved in their life, or a calling of an inner-self! It takes a lot of self-discipline as well to carry out some of these characteristic callings, i.e. Buddhist monks, or monks of any kind, Catholic nuns and priests are suppose to stay celibate while serving in their respective roles, etc. While you are wondering about others and different ways of life be careful not to be swayed by them. Listen to your inner-voice and search out that which is your calling in life. Happy trails...

No..I don't think everyone has another half.
We are each totally "whole" by ourselves. We are complete just as we are. Other people come into our lives and we may rest gently there with them for a day, a week, a month, a year or many years. We may feel "complete" with that person in our lives and we may enjoy all the relationship offers. This enjoyment is a GIFT from God, the universe or whatever your higher power is but it does not make us whole. It simply makes life more interesting, more fun and more connected.
