Things like cookies,candy, and sodas.My grandson is 6 years old and has it.

Of course sugar makes it worse, in fact, some children are misdiagnosed with ADHD because they have too much sugar in their diet which causes hyperactivity and don't really have ADHD at all!

I don't know about with ADHD, but I do know that if I get too much sugar I become a bit of an emotional basket case. And there are certain food additives that have been known to cause behavior problems in kids.

it does not help at all (not even diet soda! - all natural products best for adhd- my doc said to keep them on a low carb diet since gluten in flour can have a negative effect on te condition-

it actually isn't the sugars they are naturally occurring it is most times the additives and preservatives that go along with them. the added colors , flavors and things like that that effect my boys the most.
