I see a lot of people yelling that illegals DO pay taxes. But I'm no lawyer or IRS agent but how can you pay taxes when you don't have a social security number? If you mean they pay for taxed goods, fine but that pales in comparison to the tax us LEGAL americans pay on our income. I think the majority of pro-amnesty advocates including the ones that are on TV sound elementary in thier arguments and say things that make no sense and when you argue with them its like arguing with a 5 year old. What are your thoughts on this? Agree? Disagree? Or, make you so upset you want to cry like 5 year old?

Under most circumstances, they do not pay income tax and federal taxes. You don't have to have a social security number, such as with businesses, you can either have a tax ID number issued or use your social as your tax ID number. But this does not apply to individuals. It's possible to circumvent this in a somewhat grey area, by showing the employee as a subcontracted employee, in which you use your ID number rather than theirs to pay their taxes. But in most states, you can only pay each subcontracted employee so much a year, usually under 1,000$ from what I've seen.

Yes. The IRS issues PIN numbers to declare taxes. they pay the taxes and even pay SS of which they get no credit, but they still have to pay it. Not everyone of them does pay them but actually an overwhelming majority of them do pay taxes, that is the truth, the cold hard truth. they do pay taxes, some evn own houses, and how? Because they can do it through a PIN number, issued by the IRS. In the US only tow things are for sure: Death and taxes, and this doesn't escape them, the rest is plain rethorics and inflamatory demagogy to deflect the attention from the fact that Mr Bush has spent all the SS money in his war.
Illegal immigrants, besides, don't receive welfare, they can't! they are not elligible, how can people actually think that they use all welfare? if there are hispanics who use wellfare, these are all the chicanos that don' like to work. But mexicans, from mexico: they work baby!

Some do pay taxes. All should. However, the reason so many aren't able to come legally is that we have outright limits on how many poor people can come because even when poor people pay taxes, they pay very little. The rest of us have to pay for their children's education and their health care and services. We allow some, knowing they will be an economic loss, however, we draw the line at the number we legally allow.
The others, even if they pay taxes, are stealing education funds from our children and health care funds from our sick.

many illegal immigrants do not pay taxes, however, a large amount do have SS#'s but they are bogus, they pay in money to the IRS, but never file a claim at the end of the year for a refund. sometimes, employers exacerbate this by withholding taxes under bogus work visas or ss#'s so in essence many of them do pay taxes, but they do not get a refund at the end of the year...since the #'s that match the identities are bogus the IRS has trouble tracking them down....this was explained to me in a Sociology class...so take it as you will with a grain of salt maybe, but my teacher seemed to be pretty knowledgeable on this topic

Illegal immigrants do not and cannot pay taxes if they don't have a social. But, legal residents of the country are giving them jobs, paying them less than the minimum wages, not showing them on the record and saving money on their salary taxes.

As wrong as it may be.... they use fake SSNs... and get taxed out of their checks just like we do. Now I’m not speaking for all of them… but like it or not… some of them do pay taxes. Just like thre are only some, Americans that pay taxes.
