i'm a female who isn't really closed to the world but i feel like maybe i should open up some more i guesse you could say to the guys more.

You have to let yourself get hurt. There are people (like many who answered this question before me) who have absolutely no consideration or respect for others. But to learn to open up, you have to be willing to risk getting hurt by jerks like that so you can find the nice ones that are here and there.
Posting a question like this is a good first step. It's hard to be open. But when you meet someone special, it will all feel worth it a thousand times over. Good luck :)

I've had this same problem before except it was hard to open up when i was mad or really hurt. Its hard to open up to guys and put yourself out there cuz honestly they more than likely won't do tha same back. All i can tell you is be honest becuz to me when you open up thats all your really doing is being honest with that person. Don't be scared to tell how you feel even if it means hurting someone becuz some things need to be said regardless. Just don't open yourself to much it could hurt you.

How you doin, this is A.C. If your talking on the relatoinship level that i think you are, then i would say you need to build up your confidence. You need to know that you are going to say all the rights things. Remember, your not always going to be the one with a turned stomach. Remember, as i guy i know that we aren't the most confident and smooth talkers in the world so we get a little iffy as well. So you girls got to help us out. When talking. NO SHORT ANSWERS. turn up the conversation and have fun.

there are a few steps to open up to all genders even though you might be haven trouble talk to the guys its really not you just let it come to you
the one thing that i remind my is that i am a person and if some one wants to talk to me they will
the next thing is to watch what is going on and maybe hear what is said and give your own opinion on that subject
if earthier of those don't work it can all ways be that the time is not right so you need to just put you self out their to be heard

First, you have to open to yourself. Guys can see confidence from mile away. Once the right guy comes along, you'll want to open up.

...from experience, I can tell you to be able to open up..you first have to be proud of everything you are and all that you stand for..remember..you do not have to lay your life out like an open book when you first meet someone..keep them guessing a bit.

You have to put yourself in situations or environments that are comfortable to you and conducive to opening up. Then you have to take a chance and risk rejection or humiliation.
