why would you think that GOD would hate Steve Irwin? compared to the after life this worldly life means nothing its just temporary. here is an example of what I'm trying to say, Jesus went all over the land spreading the word of GOD and it didn't have much impact until Jesus was Killed. now look at Steve's work he was trying to teach the world to be respectful of our (brothers/sisters) in the animal kingdom. and just maybe it took his death for people to stop and take notice. Steve knew what he was doing he knew that this was dangerous. but he was willing to risk his life for a better cause. how many of the people in this world would risk or even give up their lives to protect the animals? what gives us the right to think our life is worth more then a animal? we both live and breath and love and hate. and we all have the same fate which is death. the difference is that humans are the masters of this world and we can pick and chose our fate where as the animals dont get to pick and chose their fate. their lives are in our hands. look at all the press release that Steve has now they are talking about his work his goals if this man hadn't of died do you think most of the world would have even took notice of his work. wither you believe in god or not doesn't affect any one but what matters here is respect and love for each other and all that is on the earth. I believe God would put a person who isn't shore of his existence who is a good person that cares about the world and the people and creatures in it . over a person who knows God exists and yet respects nothing. this is just my 2 cents thank you for asking this question so i could express what has been on my mind for a while. im not trying to compare him to christ what i mean to say some times we are worth more if we are dead then alive. to give your life up for something you believe in means more to the people on this earth then just doing good deeds and talking. something major has to happen for the world to stop and take notice.

Of course not. What a silly question. I suspect you say God is a lie because you have rejected Him without bothering to learn anything about faith, why people have faith and what they actually believe.

In answer to your question, it's quite simple. God gave us free will (which is why you are allowed to have your lack of faith, by the way). That means that God has given us the ability to decide for ourselves how we will live our lives. Steve Irwin chose to lead a high-risk lifestyle, and he, unfortunately met an untimely end as a result.

I am not placing blame for his death, as you have. But the responsibility for his death lies squarely with Mr. Irwin, who chose to exercise his free will to pursue his passion. While I am very saddened over his death, and feel very badly for his family, the truth is, he knew the risks and made his choices regardless. This is not God's "fault."

Aside from that, what makes you think that you have any special insight, anyway? How do you know what God's motivations for anything might be?

I don't have a problem with people who don't believe (even though I personally think they are wrong). I do have a problem with very shallow people who know little to nothing about religion claiming that the natural cycle of life and death somehow proves that God doesn't exist.

If you want to prove it, you'll have to do much, much better than that.

Steve Irwin, while a nice man, put himself into dangerous situations. When you jump out of a plane without a parachute you eventually hit the ground and die.

God loved him. The Bible is clear :"For God so loved the world that He sent his only begotten Son, and whosoever believes in Him will not perish (this speaks about our eternal state after earthly death) but have everlasting life."
I hope that believed in Jesus. He embraced evolution beliefs I do know.

Steve Irwin did not die as a result of God. He died as a result of carelessness. God did not hate him or his family. Their are consequences for our choice whether good or bad and sometimes our choices effect the ones we love.

Everyone has a time when they will die and when that time comes we go.

God is Love. He loves us so much until he allows us to serve Him by choice instead of forcing us to do so. He gives us free will.

Steve Irwin made a choice for his line of work. He knew the inherent dangers of what he did from day to day. Do you think God tossed him in the ocean and put a hex on the stingray and told it to kill Steve Irwin? I certainly hope not!

I understand your question and comments. You are apparently grieving. We tend to ask God, "why?" To me, the fact we ask Him why shows we do believe in Him.

I'm terribly sorry for Steve Irwin and his family. Can I say he made a bad choice? Of course not, he was mature enough to choose what "he" wanted to do with his life. His best friend is even reported as having said..."he died doing what he loved." I'm sure he would not have had it any other way and knew his death would be due to his occupation. (It was an occupational hazard, you know.)

Pray for his family and for your faith to be restored in God. He loves us, no matter what. Unconditionally. Only my parents have ever loved me that much!

No God is a God of love.

We should take the opportunity to prepare for eternity while we still have time. People fill their lives by focusing on other things, instead of seeking the true meaning of life.

Steve was aware of the physical dangers he was often in, and so he made his choice regarding his eternal destiny. God has given us time to make that choice. We all know that one day we will die, so why not ensure that we are right with God, while we still have time before it's too late!

Why would God hate them? He's not a lie btw. It was his will and sadly it was time that God felt that Steve should be called home. It was God's will and he decides when someone should pass on for w/e reason, people have to die eventually and that's all in God's will. He doesn't call people home because he hates them. And I wouldn't blame you, God, I agree with the person under me. No one really seems to care that Jesus died for us, but we can go hysterically depressed for Steve Irwin. Wtf? Our society is so messed up.

You got it wrong again.

It is satan who hates people like Steve Irwin. He was a great guy who was doing his best to teach people about nature. Satan didn't like that. Steve survived several close calls including at least one bite of a poisonous snake. You seem to have forgotten the times Steve survived a near death.

Satan likes to find ways to cause things like this to discredit God. The truth is that God sometimes has to allow the flow of natural events in this world. He must play fair or He doesn't deserve to be God.

Mankind chose this world full of sin and danger over the perfect world God gave them. Sometimes things like this happen, but God never intended it to be this way. This serves to demonstrate the kind of world we would have had with satan in control. God has to allow time to convince mankind and the entire universe that satans way would have been a mistake.

The book of Job is a good one that proves God must sometimes allow things to happen that he does not approve of in the name of fairness.

After all, if you want to discredit God you must use His book and His book tells us He gave us a perfect world to start with but mankind chose to go a different route. That is why bad things happen to good people.

Not sure how either a yes or no answer proves that God is a lie. God may or not be a fiction, but don't see how Steve Irwin is connected to the discussion. Please explain.

God wanted a nice guy like Steve up there with him. Notice that Fred Phelps is still among the living?
