I am 36 and single, very tall & a small business owner, sometimes i think i am single because i am too nice of a guy, I mean on dates, I buy flowers, open doors, pull out the chair & the first greeting is a kiss on the hand. will I ever find my true love ?

Women like men who are the "bad boy" type because they think that those type of men are great to be around. Its just this physical attraction that these bad boy type put out. But in the end.. they are totally losers.. don't worry.. there is someone out there for you.. just relax and don't think so hard.. Also..continue with what you have to offer because someone will eventually wake up and realize that is what was missing in her life.. respect....

This just means that you are dating the wrong women or you are way way too nice. Women don't always want jerks. In fact, the reason that most women like jerks is because they are the ones that have a problem that we think we can solve. But, it sounds like you are good on paper, so you probably don't have a lot of problems that stand out to a woman, you are employed, you sound like you have good taste and that you are the last of the chivalrous men. I don't know if you will ever find your "true" love, but I do know that there are women out there that like nice guys. They dont always finish last. They just have to be more patient than jerks. So simmer down and stop looking for the perfect woman, she doesn't exist. The only woman that you need to be searching for is the perfect woman for you, and she will come in time...so slow down and stop worrying about it. It will happen.

I wonder this very same things about my friends sometimes. I can't really say I've ever discovered the answer. I will tell you though, that I also have several friends who would love to date a guy like you, but guys like you never seem to be interested in them. Review what you're looking for in a woman. Are your expectations attainable? Are you a Gary Shandling hoping to date a Beyonce? or a Paris Hilton? Would you accept a girl who doesn't have money or is carrying a few extra pounds? You perservere, and you'll find the right one for you. Oh yeah, and dump the hand kiss....not too cool.

It's sad, but most nice girls like jerks that they can fix. Of course, there are a few good girls that would appreciate a guy like you. Unforunatelly they probably married some idiot when they were younger. Hopefully they will leave their first husband and find you.
I wish you good luck. But i have to tell you that really good girls are VERY hard to find. Despite that though, you have to be true to yourself. Don't try being mean just to get a girl. In the end that backfires (i know, i tried it). Be yourself and hope that some day the right girl will cross your path.

Yes , It will happen when it is meant to happen i recently found myself a nice guy does all the things u say u do . Yes we have to weed thru the crap before we can truly appreciate a good decent man. Hopefully she is strong enough to get away from the abusive man, what i think happens is they get ahold of the good woman and demoralize us to the point where we do not believe we deserve a good man . Only when we get our self esteem back can we learn that we deserve better then that . Your princess will come along stop looking so hard she may be right in front of ur face .

I am sure you will. My first ex was an a** and I have no clue why I put up with it. My next husband was sweet and kind and an all around nice guy, he just never wanted to be home, he liked hunting,fishing, and bowling to much...oh well.....You will find it, try an on-line dating service. Tell your friends to set you up. Let everyone that you know, that you are looking for love. Sometimes friends know better than you! Good luck, your dream girl is out there.

Be more selective on the type of ladies you ask out. Try to side step the shallow ones for a change and you'll have a better chance of finding that true love.

You will find your one and only true love .. just right now you haven't met the right one. Continue to be the guy you are.. so many girls complain that they can't find that! So you have all the traits that they are looking for. Trust me.. not many girls want to be a abusive, controlling man

nice men always get the girls in the end. and girls in their right minds would not like abusive jerks.
its not wrong to be nice. its not wrong to pull out chairs and open doors. keep doing that! but dont mix up being nice with being a loser who doesnt have an opinion of his own, runs his life according to the girl, and say things just to please their partners. we like a man with a personality. someone strong and masculine... someone who'd guide us and make us feel proud and protected with. a guy who'd make us feel like we need to do things to win their constant attention, instead of a guy who'd wouldnt mind wearing a collar around their necks. (if u know what i mean)
its nice that guys let us have our way sometimes, but when he becomes the type who goes "i dont know, its up to you. i'll have mexican if u want to." ALL THE TIME... it gets tiring. BE THE BOSS SOMETIMES!!
by the way, dont get too cheesy with the small acts. girls today see it as being phoney. and phoney dudes are a turn off.

Stop with the flowers, and kissing the hand. Holding doors is good. Just don't overdo it. If you want to come off as more of a bad boy, when you meet them hug them and make it noticable you're pressing yourself against their breasts on purpose
