SOUNDS LIKE A MEYER'S PARROT OR SENEGAL. AT LEAST ONE OF THE FAMILY OF PARROTS. I WILL INCLUDE A WEBSITE AND I WOULD LOVE TO TALK MORE ABOUT THIS SINCE WE HAD A SENEGAL.

THE LAST WEBSITE IS MINE FOR OWNERS OF PARROTS.

convinced, even as all parrots make noise, some are noisier than others. some birds too, will make a really loud sound, yet surely once at times, so as that they could be considered low noise besides. The parrots that are oftentimes low noise are budgerigars, cockatiels, lineolated parrots, senegal parrots and between the quietest of all of them - bourke's parakeets. do not quote me in this, yet curiously parrots like the African gray and the Eclectus might want to be noisy, yet many persons will surely enable out a noisy sound at times. As for what's noisier, one or 2, that relies upon on the species and the guy. some parrots will basically be noisier with 2 of them (i imagine possibly caiques are like this?). yet then some parrots will be quieter even as yet another fowl lives interior an analogous room.

I don't have a clue about your bird, and I've been a bird breeder
for over 30 years. I've been around alot of birds but I think you may have a hybrid. Get a book from the library and look at the picture's...try to compare it.....if all else fails, take it to a avian
vet, he'll know for sure...good luck in your quest....

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE buy "parrots for dummies" book. I know more about parrots and have a yellow naped amazon but STILL learned from this book! Please buy it for the love of this beautiful and funny bird. Number one rule. never give it avocados and never put in windowless room for long time in the dark and give it LOTS of attention. A few hours a day, even if that's just sitting on the back your chair like mine is doing. it will start yelling when it wants attention and you don't want that. BEST of luck.
