Take her out back and beat the crap out of her. Me and my brother and sister had more than one knock down drag out fights and now we are just as close as can be.

I just started ignoring those family members. When they realized that they were being left out of fun times and asked why, they were told because they wouldn't stop stirring up trouble. They could come back when they didn't feel the need to be mean anymore. We see them every now and then.....we actually started to realize how much more enjoyable the events are WITHOUT them!!!!

When you have had enough you need to let this sibling know that the family is tired of the behavior. List the unacceptable behavior and tell the sib that they are not welcome at family gatherings until they can control themselves. This is a last ditch effort but sometimes it is the only way to protect other family members. My mother is a mean, spiteful, hateful person who loves to make mean hurtful comments to family members. No one likes to be around her anymore.

Forcefeed her a box of laxitives and toss her on the trampoline. Have the family surround it and chant 'Bad Girl!' at her. Everytime she tries to get off, push her back on. If she stops jumping, tazer her.
She will be a good girl after that, I guaruntee it.

That's a tough situation. My dad's family is all like this, and we used to just be nice and ignore it. Tell her again. Politely explain to her that her rude opinions are unwelcomed, and that if the family really bothers her that much, then she should stay away.
