Yes He is. His earthly name was Jesus but the Bible is clear that he would be called Emmanuel, which translates "God with us".
and his name Jesus meant "Savior" for he would save people from the penalty of their sins.
And to the one who copied info from the internet... there is more historical documentation that Jesus existed and did what was said then their is of George Washington. So that theory doesn't wash.
In the Greek, in John 1:1 the Bible is clear that in the beginning was the Word (the Word is identified as Jesus in several scriptures). Was is a word of action something that represents continual action. It indicates that Jesus was the Word, He was with God and He was God and in John 1 :14 at a certain point he took on flesh and dwelt among us. This is the GOD/man Jesus Christ who came to do the Fathers will so that he might save us. He then acsended and sits at the right hand of the Father.

It depends on your point of view.
Personally, I believe He was (and is) both God AND the Son of God.
And, sorry to disagree with the person who claimed there is no historical evidence for the existence of Jesus. There is.
I've read Elaine Pagell's work, and although interesting, it doesn't answer all the questions... In fact, it left me with more questions than I started out with.

Yes, Father, Son, Holy Spirit are seprate entities all making up one God. They all have specific jobs, are all different but they all make up God. Read Genesis where God refers to himself as "Us". There are many other references in the Bible. I admonish you for seeking God and answers. that is exactly whay He wants you to do!

No - he is the bastard child of God who Joseph raised until he left or died (no one knows) Mary when he was 12. About the same age Mary was when she got knocked up.
