It is a case-by-case decision. Once someone here has made it clear that they are concerned with their own personal vanity and that their questions aren't really asked so that they may seek and learn but so that they may get props and/or so that they may attempt to offend, I don't answer their questions anymore. I shake the dust from my feet.
But when people appear to be looking for answers, I answer.
Jesus gave specific instructions on how and when to carry the message of salvation, and when to cease. I follow those instructions.

I do and don't agree with you. yes, a lot of people don't want to hear it. The Pharisees didn't want to accept Jesus, yet he still died for them. What I am trying to say is that we should spread the word even if it's not heard by all. It's God's will for us Christians. Oh ya, here's a really good verse in Philippians 2: 14-17, " Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing. But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your Faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you." I want to be that shining star, and I can't be that if I keep silent. Don't you agree? Well, this is just my opinion. You have yours, and God bless~

See the funny thing is they all are searching even the stupid horrible direspectful ones. If not why would they wasts so much time to try and prove something that they don't believe. We are not to argue with them but share the love and light that the true living God has given us.what's the use to pray for someone unless you a willing to stand up and tell them what is right and what is wrong that is real love sad thing is not tomany people care enough to tell others they just pray for people.

Given that this is 9/11, let us celebrate the wonderful things given to us by religious fundamentalists. Murder, mayhem, irreparable harm done to children that lost their parents and destruction of property. Do you think you can convince an atheist to fly a plane full of Innocent passengers into a high rise building? I don't think so, for that kind of horror you'll have to go to the truly religious. So, I say keep your pearls, and your mythology. The world would be a far better place if you children all grew up, and stopped believing in Santa Claus. Religion has done enough damage to the world, when is enough, enough?

don s,
It sounds like a plan, for you.
You see, there are many people that come here with all kinds of agendas. I am one that comes here to spread the word of God, to combat Christian Fundamentalists and Muslims in general, and to bring the word to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered Community, for whom I feel for greatly.
There are times that I think that I am talking to a swine, but how many others will see what I wrote and be persuaded by God? So one thing that I am dependent upon is the discernment that God has given me to respond to and ask questions of those that are here. I pass up a lot of queestions that I believe are a waste of time, or that they've been answered sufficiently.
Try this; Pray for the discernment necessary to divide your time as God wills. I think that that would be helpful to you.

Agree...but there are... at least some... honest seekers asking seriouse questions... I try to catch as many as I can and make as honest an answer as I can.
Then from time to time I let loose a zinger to the anti God bunch...
This has to be the vilest general public site under the Yahoo banner. And it is deliberatly so and desinged to attract teens in particular. Yahoo is clearly antii God and this is another tool they use to further that pov... Some need to be here to counter as best we can.

I do believe all these people have had a seed planted more than once.. are we suppose to keep watering or just let them sit and rot? There's alot more things I could be doing that's for sure but I really care about these people. Some people never see Jesus but only through us..right?

Don a guy has to go pretty far to be a heretic. There are some on here but a lot of folks are seeking, they are just hurt and angry and looking to take it out on someone. I don't care if they take it out on me.. I'm a big boy, my faith is secure, I know what I believe and am equipped to answer. I believe that is what we are called to do. Be prepared to give a man an answer when asks.
