She REALLY needs those shots now..Please take her to the vet..
she should also be de-wormed, but not with over the counter wormers, as she is so tiny.
Here is the AKC breed standard concerning size> Size - Ideally, height at withers is 9 to 10½ inches; but, not less than 8 inches nor more than 11 inches. Ideally, weight of mature dogs, 9 to 16 pounds. Proportion - Length between withers and root of tail is slightly longer than height at withers. The Shih Tzu must never be so high stationed as to appear leggy, nor so low stationed as to appear dumpy or squatty. Substance - Regardless of size, the Shih Tzu is always compact, solid and carries good weight and substance.
Your dog would be considered Teacup if 3 pounds or less when fully grown...It is not a breed, but used loosely as a term for dogs of any toy breed that only grow to 3 pounds and under.

A "teacup" is just a fancy money making gimmick word that means runt. The puppy should have had its first set of shots before it was sold. It is due for another set and you really should have that done ASAP. Any dog that I ever got, I had it to the vet within the first 3 days..at least to have it checked over to be sure it is healthy.
Normal size for Shih Tzu's is 8-11 inches tall and 9-16 pounds when full grown.

I've never heard of a teacup shih tzu. This puppy is 3 months old and way over-due for shots and de-worming. Never ask for advice in a pet shop (I certainly hope you didn't buy her in a pets shop). This puppy needs to be taken to the vet right now for shots - don't let her around any dogs or even take her for walks until she's had shots.

Take your dog to the vet for the shots and wormer and such.
Shih Tzu do not come in teacup size they are one breed and one soze.
If they advertised this dog as a teacup shih tzu there is not such thing. She is most likley a very small shih tzu.
They are very cute and most are great pets. Enjoy her.

First: There is absolutely no such thing as a "t-cup" breed. Second: Your puppy should have already had vaccinations beginning at 6-8 weeks depending on the veterinarian. Third: Since you purchased this puppy there should have been a contract stating that you had 48-72 hours to take the puppy to your vet to make sure the puppy was in good health. You need to get her to your vet immediately, have her thoroughly examined and get her vaccinations!!!!!

teacups are called that bcuz they can fit into a teacup. being over a pound i doubt your dog would fit. if the dog is really really tiny than it's a teacup. otherwise, it's a normie.
