It's partly to prove that the honey you have purchased is natural, unprocessed honey. If you don't mind getting gooey, you can pick it up and suck the honey out of it. Then you can use the wax to make candles, or whatever. The wax retains the fragrance of the honey for a long time.

Mostly decoration. Although some people cut pieces off to chew like gum (gets stuck to your teeth a bit though!).

Just decoration, it look good. You can tey to eat or chew it but it is sticky and may stick to your teeth.

Just decoration to make you see that it is "real". You could save them up, melt them down and make some candles!!!!!!
