he was mudered. He was hit in the head - killed and dumped in the water.
If he had drowned he would have more water in his lungs - unconscience or not he would have his lung filled with water (hence the term drowned), 4 oz of fluid could have seeped in over 4 hours of being in water.
"Died due to blunt force trauma" to the head

It Has to be Murder,
The reason for this is, If as person has commited Suicide his body will not float for atleast 12 hours,
But according to the post-mortem report the person had died 4 hours back and his body was found floating on the Water.
So, it has to be MURDER.

murdered i think. if he has commited suicide there would be injuries on the other parts of body. maybe he was hit on head and dropped in water and when he was in faint he breathed and that was the reason of water in lungs?
im not sure actually..

Murdered, Someone hit him on the head rendering him unconscious. Then pushed him in the water thinking he was dead. While underwater (still alive but unconcious) he drowned.

Sounds like he may have lost consiousness and then drowned. someone may have hit him who knows. Leave it up to forensics was this person emotionally stable? Did this person exerience heart break? I think there is more to the story if someone knew his life better, find ex girlfriends, wifes, best friends, and find out what kind of person he was as a whole, then you could determine better what kind of mind set he was in that day.

It seems like he committed suicide because he had all that water in his lungs and I'm pretty sure if someone murdered him, they wouldn't make him drink all that water before he dies, so him commiting suicide is more logical.

that is quite difficult to deduce considerin its quite obvious from what has been outlined that he took a plunge injury was caused due to impact and water in his system coz death was caused by drowning...unless u give more facts related to his life,work,etc...we wudnt be able to say with assurity whether really was suicide...
