well... my and my bf were pretty close and he used to tell me everything.. recently he told me a really big thing (nothing related to crime or anything.. a dark secret he has) and told me he was gonna commit sucide if i told anyone.. but i did tell my best frd and she told me to stop seeing him which i did.. after a whole week when we met.. he tells me it was just a lie and dont take it seriously and he wants me back.. and we were going out for over six months and i even loved him... then when i told him again that i'm not interested in the relationship.. he told me that i never loved him and all.. but i did really love him but started to move on... what i did was correct, right? and should i stay friends with him or avoid him completely?

Avoid him completely... It's called a break up, because it's broken... He has issues, issues that need solving, solving takes time, and it all depends on how much time you are willing to put into him. It'll hold you back from your life. It also sounds like he's lying to get you back. If it's meant to be, you'll be together again, just not right now...
If it seems like the right thing, but it's at the wrong time, then its actually the wrong thing.
If you have begun to move on, then don't put yourself back through it... :) Of course you loved him, and maybe he'll always hold a place in your heart, but just because you don't want him back, doesn't make you a bad person or un-caring... Sometimes you have to take care of yourself first. This is something he has to fix, not you~!

sounds like you're a strong girl. So many girls will stick with guys even if they have major issues like beating them. I applaud you for leaving him. It's simple really. You have standards (we all do) and he fell short that's all. You did the right thing for sure. Staying friends would be a waste of your time and his, so just break it off completely. You dont have to avoid him. Why should you have to? Just say a simple hi or a smile and walk past. Dont be mean, but dont be avoiding him and sneaking around, you deserve your freedom and right to be free in your environments

do not stay with him. he received't cease the mendacity.. that's a outfitted in ingredient in them.. my husband lies continually and he has executed it a lot that he do not even know he's doing it now.. i confronted him on 4 lies contained in the perfect 2 days and he says that he did not say that and says that i do not hear to him.. He do not verify with me in any respect even as he's homestead or perhaps as he does that's a lie. so i do not hear any more desirable.. do not get to connected to him because in the adventure that they lie about the little issues pay attention even as the actual stuff comes up.. becareful.. discover someone it is honest that you'll trust. as trust is a significant area of a relationship.. and also you may want to't make it artwork with out the trust. sturdy success

No, what you did was NOT right! He told you a secret that was important to him, and you betrayed his trust and then left him. What you should do is apologize to him for your immature inability to carry a secret and to overcome what he told you. After apologizing, you should tell him that you don't deserve the privilege of being his friend unless he can forgive you.

well you are in a tough situation here...well...i think that you did the right thing b/c what he said was SERIOUS!! he said that he would kill himself if u told anyone..HELLO!! can u say PHYCO! you shouldnt be with a guy that tells u something and doesnt even tell u it was a joke...it probably wasnt...you will never know....but if i were in your shoes....i say that u just try to avoid him so that you wont get involved again

I think you did the right thing by breaking up with him. I would say that you should be friends with him but a crucial element to friendship is trust. Do you trust him after this? Good Luck!
