my son a 9th grade last year had a slight attendance prob-for this his consequences were saturday school detentions- the year ended and he was promoted to 10th grade and i received his final report card. should this have been the end of one school year? and say hey oh well cant change the past i can just do alot better this year! but they continue to throw this in his face and bring him down- how is this legal do i have a right to put them in their place and end this how are they able to justify this

Same thing happened to my daughter. She went from 10th to 11th this year and had a detention left over that she wasn't able to go to, some silly something or another. When she went back to school, they told her she had to have detention to make up for it. I think thats a bunch of bull. Once the year ends, it ends. Call your school superintendent.

honestly no i dont think it is legal schools make hella mistakes and people let them get by with it you should contact them and make sure you tell them that you are going to take legal actions if they continue to harass him or you over this.. I think this school should be put in its place
