I would say peroxide. It has no burn, and you can actually see it working when it bubbles.

It's better to clean a wound with peroxide than alcohol.

Peroxide. Alcohol will only dry things out. If a wound itches later such as when it's scabbing over, use alcohol to take away the itch. Peroxide doesn't burn??? Really? Since when? It always has for me. But, not nearly as bad as alcohol. Also, if you have a really bad sore throat or strep throat you can gargle with peroxide. It tastes bad and whatever you do DON'T swallow it but, it will provide relief and help kill the infection. I had chronic strep throat when I was really young and this was a recommendation of the doctor.

They both do equally well at killing germs. Peroxide probably gets more of them because of it's foaming action. And peroxide is kinder and gentler for kids. Adults can have the alcohol.

peroxide works best because it bubbles up and removes any dirt or grime in the wound. It doesn't sting and it fights off bacteria. Good Luck!

USE BOTH...the bubbles don't have anything to do with the peroxide working..that's just what happens when light hits it...that is why its in a dark bottle

I don't which a Dr. would say is better, but I like peroxide, because it doesn't burn.

I use alcohol for bug bites, and for blisters and cuts I use peroxide.

The best way to clean a wound is with water. Nice, fresh, clean water. Lots of it.
