You need to get medication from your vet. Some people like Advantage better than Frontline but that isn't where the major problem is.
Fleas live in the ground and their eggs can stay dormant for up to 3 months. Buy a lawn pesticide like Diazinon and treat as much of your yard as possible. Next treat all your pets with the flea killer at the same time. Confine all of them to one room for at least one day while the fleas they carry jump ship. Next you will need to fog your home. Buy enough foggers to REALLY get into all the crevices! Once the foggers have done their job, vacuum EVERYWHERE!!!! Take the vacuum bag out, put it in a garbage bag and seal it. When you take your pets out of the confined area, treat it with fogger and vacuum. Keep your pets medicated for the next 3 months at least. Keep foggers ready because you will likely have to repeat the same process once leftover eggs start to hatch. If you get to the new fleas before they feed, they won't lay new eggs. Two fogger treatments is usually enough to clear out a home. Especially when their aren't any new fleas outside to get on your pets.
After that, keep your yard and pets treated.

Frontline is generally the best for fleas when used correctly....it's number 1 for a reason. You can't use it on rabbits though...you need to talk to your vet for a recommendation for that. For Frontline, they shouldn't have a bath for 24-48 hours before or after treatment, and you should remove any cloth/leather collars for about 8 hours after treatment. You need to make sure you're using the right size and breed formulas. Powders don't work and are dangerous. You're lucky you didn't make any of your pets sick. Go get knouckout area spray. It's available only through vets, and it's very effective and safe for treating your house. You will also need to retreat your pets. Also, treat your yard. Unless the fleas are completely wiped out on your pets, in your house and in your yard, you're going to still have them. Also, are you sure it's fleas? You could be treating for the wrong thing.

Use Advantage (if the pup and kit are old enough), not sure if it's ok on rabbits though. My vet put Revolution on my rabbit.
This site seems to be the cheapest I've found it.

Now, you're going to need to vacuum your house a lot, floors, rugs everything. You could bomb your house, but I don't like that, all those chemicals in my house. If you do that, make sure to read the instructions carefully, you may need to turn off any pilot lights you have. I'd recommend just doing the vacumming a lot. Wash all their bedding & toys. And, pick up something to treat the yard/play area outside. Can pick it up at walmart or lowes.

You need to get rid of the source of the fleas. If they stay outside, contact your local pest control company about having your yard sprayed for fleas. This is the time of year when they get pretty bad. And if their indoor/outdoor, then your pet may have brought some inside from the outside, in which case, contact your pest control company because you need to have your home sprayed as well. They'll have you wash all your bedding, place them in plastic bags and set outside. Its not a fun process, but a necessary one if you really want to get rid of them. Also, change your vacuum bag and throw it away outside the house.

give the animals a joy dish soap (non ultra) and rubbing alcohol bath, a couple ounces of alcohol per gallon of water, if you can wash them in the sink and let them soak a couple minutes it kills even more fleas, also if you put this mixture in a frying pan and put it on the floor when the animals aren't near the fleas will jump in. leave it overnight if you can help. put seven dust (from Lowe's etc) on your floors then vacuum also helps.... i did all of this at once and never had another flea problem.

Well this can be only for your dog, but if you give him a flea bath, by giving him a bath, andusing flea shampoo. The flea shampoo may be expensive but it's worth it. We did that when our dog had fleas, and it worked well. As soon as we were done with him in the bathtub, there were a few fleas bouncing in the tub.

First off front line sucks!!! Second of all go to the vet and ask about this stuff (can't rember the name) but I think it's advantage, that goes in three doses 1 to keep them off 2 so when they bite them they die, it's in the blood by then, and 3 it works for 3 months. Right now i suggest you give them a tee tree oil bath and bomb your house, make sure no 1 is inside for awhile afterwords. good luck.

The best method and cheapest is to wash both animals in Dawn dishwashing liquid. Then squeeze the remaining all over your yard. There is something in Dawn liquid that kills them. Good Luck!

I am surprised you haven't got it yet!..!!
Take all to vet for a flea bath and then leave them in kennel for a week to give you a chance to clean your home of flea, otherwise you get them back and they get it again, all over.
