I'm not talking just Doritos or a packet of ramen. Something that's really sad but comforting that you make yourself. Something from childhood or college days?

I don't think I have a "sad" food, but I know I have comfort foods - when I'm not feeling my best, a little down - kind of like when the season turns from fall to winter - a bit blue.

I'll go into the kitchen and go nuts! Homemade Ravioli stuffed with spinach and portabello mushrooms, Lasagna, Pot roast with lots of red burgundy wine. I really feel "uplifted" when the food is heavy! (gotta love those roasted garlic mashed potatoes with butter, cream, diced green onion and real bacon bits!). Darn! Now I am hungry and I have to go to work and cook for everyone else tonight!

You start with a large dish of ice cream.

on the side, add two additional scoops.
then top the whole thing with another scoop.

And don't go messing it up with sauces, bananas or cherries.

If you prefer a simpler receipt, remove the top from a quart container, get a spoon and watch the tube while you stuff yourself. Now anyone can make that.
