INGREDIENTS:
8- 1 ounce squares of unsweetened chocolate
1 cup butter
5 eggs
3 cups sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
1-1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2-1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts, toasted
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13 pan.
Melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat; set aside. In a mixer, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla at high speed for 10 minutes**. Blend in chocolate mixture, flour and salt until just mixed.
Stir in the nuts. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 35-40 minutes. (Don't overbake.) Cool and frost if desired, but that is not necessary.
** It's not required, but this is when it's very nice to own a stand mixer.

YUMMY BROWNIES!

1 1/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound chopped walnuts
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
In a saucepan over medium heat melt the butter. Stir in the sugar until dissolved. Remove mixture from heat and beat in the eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
Sift the flour, cocoa and salt together. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until combined. Stir in the walnuts. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
Do not over bake!

Try this one its GR8, Carmel Chocolate Brownies
8 oz Walnut pieces
1 Stick butter; softened-4oz
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
2 ts Vanilla extract
3 Squares unsweet. Chocolate, melted (1 oz each)
2/3 c Flour plus 1/4 c Flour
12 1/4 oz Jar caramel topping
12 oz Semisweet chocolate chips (about 2 cups)
1/4 c Heavy cream
1/2 c Flaked coconut
Coarsely chop walnuts. Measure out 1 cup and set aside. Finely chop remaining walnuts.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl, beat together 1 stick butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, 2-3 minutes. Beat in melted chocolate. Add 2/3 cup flour and beat until well blended. Stir in finely chopped nuts.
Spread batter evenly in greased, foil-lined 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake 10 minutes. In a small bowl, mix together caramel and remaining 1/4 cup flour until blended. Drizzle over partially baked brownies. Sprinkle coarsely chopped nuts over top. Return to oven and bake 20 minutes longer, or until bubbly.

Nutty Brownies-
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1/2 cup butter or margarine,melted
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup baking cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cupchoppednuts
In a mixing bowl combine sugar ,eggs vanilla mix well. add butter mix well. combine the flour, cocoa, salt (in separate bowl)
mix well. then combine sugar,van,egg combo w/ flour,cocoa, and salt combo until just combined stir in the nuts
grease a microwave safe 8x8 pan pour in mixture
microwave uncovered for 6 to 7 mins. or until top lightly springs back rotate a quarter turn every 2 mins.

Get the box of double fudge brownie mix at the store. After following the instructions, dump in a bag of chocolate chips, and a quarter cup of Kahlua. Bake as normal. They'll be really gooey and fudgy.
