This is not me scrounging for a date or anything (though I can see why u'd think that). I'm just wondering, I don't think myself as a handsome guy but some girls on here ask for my pic and say I'm cute when they get it. Now, maybe I am cute and maybe I am not, but just I wondered do girls always think they are pretty or do they need convincing by the guys they meet?
Please take this question on the level and don't report it. I'm only seeking answers today, just couldn't think what other category it would go in.

I have problems with my self esteem so in general i dont think im pretty even though i have a lovely boyfriend who thinks im beautiful and i get complimented on my looks a lot. So its not about needing approval from other people or guys, if you dont think you're pretty or handsome then you have to change your state of mind and just be happy with who you are. Im not happy within myself and so no matter what people tell me i still dont like what i see in the mirror.

I have never seen my self as pretty, or anything special. I feel that I am average .. needless to say as a child I was your typical red head, pale faced skinny girl growing up loaded with tons of freckles. To this day .. I still see that little girl .. filled with insecurities of having freckles.
As I got older .. I really don't care how the world views me, its how my husband and my children do. Their opinion counts .. I could be a scale of 1 (in 1 to 10) but if they tell me I am beautiful .. then at that moment I trully am.

Some days I feel pretty, others I don't. I like it when my hubby just stops everything when I come into the room and tells me I'm beautiful....Those are the days I feel the best about myself! I know I am a good person on the inside and the outside shouldn't matter, but there are just days when I need the reasurance.

All the girls when they didn't look at the mirror they always thought that they are pretty. By looking at the mirror Girls know if they are pretty or not but if in case there is no mirror, i'm sure all of them said that they are pretty and even we are good looking guys we are having difficulties to find even ugly girlfriend bec. they want a boyfriend that has.

3.) Bequtiful House
4.) Politicians
5.) Businessman

I'm not a model but not bad either. I don't pose when I go out I don't care whos looking at me and whos not I just enjoy myself. And i have on ocasion have had guys come up to me and say that I'm that I'm the happiest looking woman with the warmest smile they have met and would love to be in my company. A great fun personality really dose affect how people look at you. A warm smile makes any woman look beautiful.

As a mother of 3 I do need reassurence from time to time. Sometimes when i look in the Mirror i am happy and others I am not.
I believe that people who think they are hot are probably shallow.

I don't really consider myself pretty. I think that is due to many years of a man trying to convince me that I am not pretty and that no one would ever love me "the way he did". My current boyfriend tells me everyday that I'm beautiful. And when he looks at me I can tell that he means it. That is one thing that I love so much about him.

Well,
some girls are stuck up and think they are the finest things in the world no matter who tells them what, but I think for the most part, most people think they have nice things to say about themselves.
For example:
I don't think I am gorgeous at all.
But some days, I am like " Yeah, I look nice today!" My make up is looking good and my clothes fit nice, etc.
POINT BEING:
It feels nice to be told that we are pretty even if we think we do or not.

In my opinion no girl or woman really thinks they are attractive unless you meet one of the supersnobs that think they are gods gift.I bet even the georgous actresses think they are ugly and have low self esteem.Every girl needs to hear she's pretty once in a while.

Some women are more confident about their looks than others and some seek confirmation of their attractiveness from other females, or males! Beauty is a matter of opinion.
