I am not sure understand you. if you want cable to two TV at two room, here is what you do
1 from main cable which from the pole, connect to input of a splitter.
2 take two output of that splitter, one goes to TV1, and second goes to TV2
you have mentioned push the two cable together, i am not sure what you mean. if in the case you have two RF cables go to you house to be combined into one, that will be very hard, you need a multiplexer, then two input RF cable or signals will send out in one cable that has both input cable programs. Do I answer you question?

Your question is a little confusing. I think the answer you are looking for is to run the cable output at the back of your cable box into the input on your splitter, and run the two outputs to your two televisions.

OK. You will have 3 cables here. One cable is coming from the cable tv system, or your input. Place this cable in the input side of the splitter. (single port side) Then attach two cables in the output side (has two ports on that side) and attach the other end in the input port of the two dfferent tvs.

Two TV's with two cables?
I am assuming ( I know it is dangerous) that you have only one cable input, not two inputs. If that is the case, then you simply split the incoming cable after your box,( if you have a box) with your splitter, and run one cable to each TV.
You say two cables, though, and that is what concerns me. Do you know where these two cables come from or go to? One has to come from the pole outside, but where does the other one go?
I can help you a lot more with some more info.
Contact me, if you like...
Good luck, Stevo.
