He was supposed to come back in 1000, and then in 2000. But he didn't show up either time. However, the third time will be a charm.

Given that Jesus is a character from a primitive myth and lacking any credible evidence to demonstrate his existence, then it is highly unlikely that he will return. Also, it is increasingly doubtful that humanity will survive the next two hundred years; so, even if Jesus did return in 3000AD, he would be returning to a world devoid of human beings.

You know I don't care when He comes back, I just want to be ready. As a teenager in the 70's we were taught to not bother
planting trees, don't go to college and live life as if there was no
tomorrow. We set no goals, we had lots of kids and no money.
The kids I wouldn't trade for anything but we would of not waited
till the 90's to start a business and excel in our finances.
No one knows the day or hour so just plan to be ready and
live a godly life working hard, building, do some financial planning
and love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your
neighbor as yourself

With the conditions in the world as they are today, I can not say what it would be in3000. In any case it is high time we had a Jesus or Rama Or prophet Mohammad to reappear put some sense in the minds of people to get things right and not blowup each other.

there is no way of knowing when his return will be.

A lot of cons, usually trying to sell books and make money, have provided fasle dates for years! Don't trust them.

Revelation is a symbolic history of the church! It is NOT some sort of crystal ball in the future.
