He tells us throughout the whole bible to do His will, not your own. If we really did love the Lord we would do what he says.
Rom 10:17 So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God

Think about it. All these Words in the book are not in vain. The Lord is Perfect.

Yes this is so true, but we are also imperfect and will fall short. We are lucky though, because God sent his son, so that we can be forgiven. All we can do is try with all our might to listen and obey his words. God knows what is in our hearts and who is really trying to follow his words. He knows who loves him.

The Lord gave you the ability to think and the power of free will.
Think about it.
Besides the bible is the word of the lord. It is not proven that everything in the bible was the exact word. If it were than the lord would of written the bible. We interpret what the bible says as the people who wrote the bible interpret ted what the lord said.

The greatest and most dangerous gift God gave us is free will. He wants us to come to him because we want to not because we have to. It would not require faith if we had to.
