This material world is under the law of karma (for every action there is certain reaction). If we terrorize cows in the slaughterhouses and unborn babies in abortion clinics, is it surprising that terrorists attack us? It is our fault.

God definitely could have stopped it but I am sure there is a reason why he allowed it to happen. I also believe God's hand was at work because at the time the airplanes hit the WTC, more people should have been in the building. From what I heard there was a lot of traffic that morning and people were late arriving. Below are some other reasons why some people survived the attack.

The head of a company survived 9/11 because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was his turn to bring donuts.

One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike
because of an auto accident.

One of them missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take time to change.

One's car wouldn't start.

One went back to answer the telephone.

One had a child that dawdled and didn't get ready as soon as he should have.

One couldn't get a taxi.

One man put on a new pair of shoes that morning. He took the various means to get to work, but before he got there, he
developed a blister on his foot. He stopped at a drugstore to
buy a Band-Aid. That is why he is alive today.

God created you and he knows the number of days you will be here on Earth. I am sure 9/11 taught us a lot of different things but it is also a reminder that we need to live our lives to the fullest since we don't know if we will be here tomorrow.

Yes and all powerful God could have stopped it. But how do we know there is not a bigger reason behind all of this. Look how many people started searching for Him again as well as changing their lives. Maybe this was a wake up call to people and unfortunately those lives were taken because of that.

Yes, He could. The same way He could have stopped any number of bad things from happening. However through Adam we have to live in this cursed world that has pain, suffering, and death. Because God gave us free-will, He won't arbitrarily take it away just because He knows we are going to do something bad with it, then we would no longer have free-will.

Yes, He is All Powerful and All Mighty. There is always a purpose in all this but don't blame God for what men do! Each and everyone has the decision how to live this life, and sadly there is bad people out there.

I think God allows the devils to do things for a reason maybe we all need to keep it simple and try to learn something from this and we need to know that this is Gods world and we are powerless over almost everything if you really think abt it Gods in control not us and we need to understand that hell he could just take us all out and how sad it would be for many people that havent even accepted Jesus as their personal saviour and that'd be it not to many would be going to heaven becuz their all caught up in themselfs and worried abt things of this world

If there was a God who was up there watching us then he could have stopped it along with all the other woes of this world.
So it stands to reason that the God or Power that created this world and people didn't hang around to see what the hell we were doing years later.
It's all up to us to do something about our lives and our world.

Rationally thinking humans would have stopped 9/11.

You presume to know the rational behind God's actions. He could have stopped it but perhaps some of those He took are going to serve a higher purpose for Him now. Maybe they are part of the white robed who are crying out for justice which God will mete out soon enough.

9/11 and horrible things like it ARE NOT GOD'S RESPONSIBLITY. They are mans. God is simply biding his time until his time comes to return. Why should he step in and stop us when WE WANTED FREE WILL? We have to learn our lesson once and for all time, and it still doesn't sound like we have. God is not the God of this world, Satan is. Or didn't you notice when Satan offered the World to Christ for one single act of obedience? Christ didn't say, "its not yours to give" he acknowledged that Satan WAS the ruler of the world. However, he didn't obey Satan because he knew that even 2,000 years of his rule would be as nothing compared to God's incoming Kingdom that would RULE for eternity! So, suffer for a few more thousand years, or wait for God's eternal kingdom. I'm glad he waited....
