So to all of you who proclaim that you are a born again Christian, what do you feel is your purpose in life? Why are you here and what are you supposed to be doing? How are you supposed to be doing it? And ARE you doing it? How? If not, what do you think you should be doing? And how/when do you plan to start? Thanks for your input!

To Love the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and Love my neighbor as myself.
No, I haven't fully lived up to this purpose but it is my goal none the less.

Our purpose is to let others know about Jesus. We can do it in many different ways. Those who are good at speaking and evangelism can share the gospel. Others who are more financially wealthy can give to missionaries or organizations that share the love of Jesus to others. Even if we do not actively share the gospel to others, we should live our lives in a way that others will notice something different about us. I know I try though not always successful at doing it.
Currently I support different full-time missionaries who work in different parts of the world. I also pray for at least one missionary every Sunday. Finally a friend and I teach Sunday School to 7th and 8th graders. We try to let them know that God has a plan for them and the importance of spending time reading the Bible and living a holy life.

Right now I believe that I am doing what I am supposed to be doing. I am a youth leader in church, trying hard as I can to teach the wayward youth of my hometown about Jesus. I mean that as nicely as it can be said because it seems like God has blessed my husband & I with the "misfit" youth group. They are anything but typical, and I doubt any church around here would make them feel welcome. Mostly because of social boundries and school cliques.
I don't feel that I will be here forever though. I feel like I will be called into Missions. How and when though...that's up to God and I hope and pray I am paying enough attention to hear his call.

I am created by God for God, to glorify Him in everything I do.
To seek to win people to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, so that they too, will live their lives for Him.
The way I do this, is by speaking to people at an appropriate time and on an appropriate level. I have groups online for the addicted and those with life controlling problems, also for the bereaved and those who are searching for the meaning of life, to give such an opportunity to explore.

The mission of a Christian is to go to heaven, sit with God and praise him forever. If you are a Christian, I was, you are motivated by fear of eternal suffering in hell. Not to mention that Christians and all believers are addicted to having all the right answers and being the righteous.

Peter seeing him saith to Jesus , Lord , and what shall this man do ? That seems to be your question as well . I guess in one way your like Peter.So now I would like to let the Master Himself answer your question."Jesus saith unto him,If I will that he tarry till I come , what is that to thee?follow thou me."Isn't that such a wonderful answer.You see instead of worrying about my neighbor . I should be more worried about what I am doing . Then if I am truly following Jesus I can be a good example to my neighbor , salt so to speak.

I would like to ensure that people have a chance to see what God is REALLY like - to hold up for them what they may never have had a chance to see before. Yes, I'm doing that in every way I can find.

Bribe all non christians with money and prayers for suffering( give medicine mixing in holy water) and convert them and use them as weapons against their own previous religion and watch the game and enjoy
