I met Dave Thomas the founder of Wendy's when his book was getting ready for release. I worked for the distribution company that handled the release. He was a good person who founded an excellent program for adoption.

I've met a LOT of well known politicians because my stepfather and my mom are both in politics. Unfortunately they've mostly been Republicans... nobody I give a crap about getting to talk to so far. But as far as really "famous" people like movie/rock stars, etc., I met Soundgarden and Metallica at Lollapalooza '96 because we had VIP passes; Dudley Moore was on a plane to Boston with us one time, Eddie Albert was in a grocery store in West Palm Beach, Hulk Hogan and Evel Kneivel were both at this restaurant in Clearwater and we sat right next to them and another time at the same place we saw that guy named Engelbert Humperdink, and I met Jimmy Buffett at a music store in West Palm, too. Oh yeah and I've seen Donald Trump like twice around here, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were also at that one restaurant, Sandy Duncan was at Disney World, and I know I'm forgetting other ones too!

Douglas Bader. I was in the Air Cadets and he came to a parade . A more conceited arrogant bastard I have never met. He told that I was stupid to join the cadets as I was, and still am, disabled (Polio as a baby) He didn`t like it much when I stood up for myself, something that my parents had always said that I should do, and said that at least I didn`t get my problem by " showing off"(For those that don't know, he lost his legs by crashing a plane that he was flying too low)

Does your question include soap stars? If so then i have! I was walking round a department store when the wife of Bill Roach who plays Ken Barlow in a well known UK soap called Coronation Street, came over to me and started admiring the pushchair i had with my youngest son in. She called Bill over and they chatted to me and my baby. A week later i read in a newspaper that his wife was expecting a baby.
Of course that's nothing compared to your famous sitings, surely no one can beat meating Kevin Costner 4 times....You will be on first name terms soon!!

Well if you're going to go on just "seeing", then I've seen the whole NASCAR line-up at Talladega, I've "seen" Kevin Greene (actually talked to him too), shook hand and had a pisture made with Ollie North, and had my hair cut next to colon Powell.
