Please give scripture that I can reference. I'm not interested in opinions.
It sure would be good if we could agree to the truth on this and many, many other issues.
It's hard to imagine a non-believer to be convinced of the "truth" on matters that we can't even agree on.

Melrae1116,
I'm asking this to christians, because christians get biblical answers from the bible. And, I'm searching for the biblical answer to my question. Eveyone has opinions. And opinions often conflict. If the Word of God is THE WORD OF GOD, then it says what is intented. If we interpret differently, that's man, not the fault of GOD.

Clarkie,
My acceptance of the bible as "the truth" is based on many factor; faith, self-evidence, history, archiology, etc., Nevertheless, it's my choice to believe it. Again, I'm asking my question to christians, whom I believe take the bible to be the word of God, the prophecy and record of Jesus.
thanks

Gorgeoustxwoman,
This question wasn't for you. I'm trying to poll christians on this.
Some people are "pissed off" that you believe what you believe. I'm not. that would be silly. everyone has the right to "believe" what they want.
Thanks

AdamKidmon,
I think you are confusing sin with birth defects.
Sin is the transgression of the law. In the case of the christian, that is the transgrsion of the laws of Christ.
With birth defects there is no transgression of law by that child.
Thanks

From scripture, children are better off then adults are:

Luke 18:15-17 - And they brought unto him also infants that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them unto him, and said, suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: FOR OF SUCH IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

However, also as an effect of being in this world, children are susceptible as they become aware ....
Luke 17:1 He said to his disciples, "Things that cause sin WILL INEVITABLY OCCUR, but woe to the person through whom they occur.
It would be better for him if a millstone were put around his neck and he be thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.

It's a matter of 1.cuantum physics and 2.something more than this.
1. (a) an action is an event that causes a reaction;
(b) every event has a vibration associated - short or long lasting
(c)everything that exist is a system => it has a specific
LAW of functioning
If somebody breaks somehow a LAW of base in the vital system, the effect is a rupture that can take much energy and time to be repaired and this is the SIN.
2. once done a mistake it enters the memory of the Universe(both the big one and the inner one - and here the new born baby finds it-in the space of his parents
and in the space of fellow creatures)

He has to know what it means in order to know what to do when he finds the memory of the ancient sin. It vibrates continuously (if nobody of his family has already stopped it). The vibration is interpreted by your system that translates exactly the fact(" not listen to whatever request" or smth like that and you use your inteligence and wiseness and you will understand what it is-it may be the basic sin that had done wrong to your family). So it's not a blame, no, you are in front of the possibility to stop the bad vibration that speciffically affected your family(that is your line of ancestors including those active-alive).

Jessus went somewhere down in the hell and drew out
Adam and Eve from there and helped them elevate as they were first created. This is the symbol/and the action
that the son/daughter is demanded to do for his/her family
and for him.../herself in order to have a real good life free of the trace/consequences of an ancient sin BECAUSE HE (you) WAS (were) BORN WITHOUT SIN.

Just be yourself and have a good time.

People have different opinions about this. In churches where they baptize infants, they believe that they need to be saved from their sins, but others baptize as adults, meaning that they must consciously choose salvation. I can't give you scriptures, but there have been philosophers/bible thinkers that have done extensive debates on this issue. Augustine came up with the term "age of accountability" and I think it was Thomas Aquinas that thought of "tablua rosa" or that we are born with a blank slate. They are some interesting readings.

I believe that a child enters the world sinless, but the burden of sin is on mankind, that's why there was Jesus.

To answer your question, Adam passed imperfection, and death to all (Romans 5:12, 18). Also, Sin is a "violation of God's Law," his perfect standard. (1 John 3:4; 5:17) And, we are all in sin, and short of God's perfect standard. (Rom. 3:23; Ps. 51:5).

So, according to the above, yes, we are all born into a "sinful state" because our first father Adam sinned and passed along the imperfect state. This is why, even though a child is "blameless" at birth, it can still be born with stillbirth, diseased or deformed, even though it may not have "sinned yet." Its unfair, yes, but there is HOPE, and that is when we return to God's perfect standard of Perfection one day when his kingdom returns.

Satan has his children - Psalm 58:3, John 8:37-47, 1 John.3:8-10, 12, 1 Matthew 13:38, Revelation 2:9 below.

Ps.58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

1 Jn.3:8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1 Jn.3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his (God’s) seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1 Jn.3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

1 Jn.3:12 Not as Cain, [who] was of that wicked one (Jn.8:44 above), and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

Matt.13:38The field is the world; the good seed are the CHILDREN of the kingdom; but the tares are the CHILDREN of the wicked one (1 Jn.3:12, Jn.8:44 above);

Re.2:9I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan (Jn.8:37-47).

Children are born innocent of sin. They are not held accountable until they learn the difference between right and wrong. That age is different for everyone. Example. A severely retarded 25 yr old with the mentality of a two year old who picks up a gun and shoots the caretaker is not responsible because they are not capable of realizing the consequences of their actions.

Christians believe that EVERYONE is born into sin as a result of Adam & Eve's transgression against God. They believe that only Christ's atonement can save them from this. I, however, do not believe that we are born into sin. I believe that we are born tabula rasa, with a clean slate.

three issues to consider are

1) death entered the world and affected us, we now die and the rest of the creation is affected as well

Romans says "as in Adam all die so in christ shall all be made alive", we definitely inherited several things form Adam who federally represented man when he sinned

2) our nature was tinged with sin and no long er can choose freely between good and evil

Psalm 51 implies a persons sin ful nature goes back to conception

3) in a way you cant have it both ways... if Jesus righteousness can be imparted to us ... Adams sin can as well

Being born with the burden of sin is one of the more preposterous and absurd ideas that religion uses to control people.

ST MATTHEW CHAPTER 18
1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little bchild, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea

If Jesus asked us to return to the purity and innocence of a small child then Jesus believed (had the opinion) that children were pure and without sin.
