I have very fair skin, and black eyebrows, which I think looks too harsh and unattractive.

I've always wanted to go ultra blonde, but I wonder if it might be too harsh on my hair, like it might all fall out!

Has anyone does this transition?
a. is it true that switching that many shades is much harsher or stronger for your hair & it may fall out or be singed or something (of course I would go to the best hair salon I can find, so I'm sure they would take precautions)

b. anyone else w/ dark eyebrows, what color did you have them dyed?

c. How often do you have to touch up eyebrows?

I'm not too concerned about roots, 'cause I don't mind that look that much, but eyebrow roots would look bad! thank you.

Yes, it is very hard on your hair if you have alot of colors in your hair-or even if you bleach/dye it. I doubt if your hair will fall out, but it will be damaged from all the chemicals. If you really want to go blonde, I suggest you ask your hairstylist on what shade of blonde would be right for your skin tone. Platinum blonde is a hard look to pull of, not to mention high-maintenance.

Have a professional color your eyebrows ( a DIY will look bad!)
My hairstylist has told me that if you have dark hair, you should bleach your eyebrows two shades lighter, and if you have blonde or red hair, you should go two shades darker.

My hair is jet black naturally and I am a platinum blond now and have been for the past 7 years.

Dying your hair blond is the worst thing you can do to your hair and takes a lot of up-keep. You are stripping your hair it's natural color.

A. The first time I switched My hair tended to be frizzy which is understandable since it was dry from the blond dye.

B. You should never dye your eyebrows - it is really bad for your skin and can get in your eyes. My friend had them dyed once and she had a bad reaction - she developed a rash. I had my eyebrows thinned out when I get them waxed so my eyebrows not matching my hair isn't an issue.

I once tried to go very blonde but I dont thik its a good idea. I m back with chocolate brown hair and I feel more natural. What i would suggest is to lighten your brown in a chocolate brown colour and then put chuks of ligkts. This way you can keep your dark eyebrows and still look marvellous

you can lighten your eyebrows as well, just don't go as drastic as your hair color do something in between. you can buy kits at the beauty supply and anyways even if you keep your brows dark alot of blondes don't have light eyebrows.

just go to a stylist sweets.
you may have fair skin, but the tone might be ALL wrong for blonde hair. a good stylist would be able to help you determine that.
good luck!

Bleach them with Jolene bleach for about 10 minutes then wipe off. Don't go too light or you will be washed out. Aim for medium brown
