A day when triumph emerged from tragedy, when the most of evil of acts promtped an entire nation to embrace what is good and noble in the human spirit.
The actions of everyday citizens to rush to give aid and comfort to those in peril is among the most noble acts in modern American history. The selfless acts of many will be forever remembered and most people will spend 9/11 as a day of remembrance for those lost, and the ideals of self-sacrifice and courage to which they dedicated their lives.

It brought home to Americans just how precious freedom is to us. We can no longer, ever, take it for granted again but we must keep striving to show the World that freedom is worth fighting for...and dying for...because in every heart there lies an aching to be free.
