That depends on who you're telling and why you're telling them.

Your close friends need to know so that they can help to keep you on the straight and narrow when things start to go wrong.

And your boss DOESN'T need to know, unless there's a safety concern. You can tell him, and he'll appreciate you telling him, and if you do tell him you need to tell him that it doesn't affect your work and that you're taking your medications.

If you're close to that person and feel that you can trust them and you want them to know, then I'd say yes. If it's someone you haven't known long I'd say no. We all hope people will treat us respectfully, but there are some people in this world who just love to talk about someone else to everybody else. If you aren't careful about who you tell, you could let yourself in for some pain. Just be careful and don't feel like you're being dishonest. Everyone doesn't have to know everything. You're entitled to your privacy. I wish you luck, and good and true friends thoughout your life. (-:

No that gives you an open invitation to be crazy when ever you want. Then using the lame excuse. I have schizophrenia.

Tell maybe a close friend so they can help when you go off the deep end.
