Well, I'm not really qualified to answer this question. At least I'm not in the medical field. I do know from my own experience that your glands in your neck will swell when they are fighting off an infection. It definitely sounds like there's an infection going on. Whether it's from your teeth or you were just unlucky enough to get sick with something on top of the problem with the teeth is the part I can't answer. Maybe you should call your dentist now and let them know what's going on. They may want you to go to a doctor. They probably won't do the root canals until all the infections are cleared up. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Yes. Absessed teeth can cause many physical problems. A swollen face or neck are the symptoms of the bacterial infection but the antibiotics should make the swelling come down in a couple of days.

Absolutely! Your symptoms are normal, but do not overlook the possibility that you have a throat infection at the same time you are having tooth problems. They might be unrelated. Fortunately, the usual choice of antibiotics for dental infections is usually good for thraot infections as well.

yes the glands in your neck are prone to invection caused by a transfer of bacteria from the root of the tooth into the surrounding tisue, the glands are very sensitive and can easily become inflamed and enlarged..
a small course of antibiotics will do the trick,, but getthe teeth sorted my friend
