At the risk of sounding like James Bond, I like a Vodka Martini. And most bars make them Shaken, not Stirred. Add Ice to a cocktail shaker, pour a drop or two of Dry Vermouth over the ice, Shake and then poor off the Vermouth. Add 2 oz. High Quality Vodka, shake well strain into a Martini Glass. Garnish with a cocktail onion or olive as you prefer.

I don't use vodka as a base if it is a good vodka. Good vodka should be poured over ice and sipped!!!!

"Crossroads" with the help of Cream (1968 Winterland Ballroom performance from the Wheels of hearth lp, no longer 2005 Royal Albert hall performance). IMHO, basically the most kick *** stay guitar performance contained in the heritage of rock song.
