I am a Christian and I have read the Quran. I've found that the Quran is just a spine off of the Bible. There are a lot of text in the Quran that is almost the same as in the Bible. Example: The Quran states that Moses was born in the country now known as Israel. The Bible states that he was born in Egypt to a Hebrew slave. When the Quran was put together, they took stories told by travelers and other spiritual leaders and put them together and came up with the Quran. A lot of the true facts got lost in the interpretation. Even the story of Jesus's early life is like the Bible.
Since the Bible was here long before the Quran, I choose to believe in the Bible.

I have had this problem, too. Muslims seem to be just as anxious to to get people converted as we Christians are. I have read the Koran in order to try to understand where Islamic people are coming from, not because I am interested in something besides Christianity. Jesus Christ will always be my Savior.

Hi!
The reason is, every kingdom, whether it be of God or Satan, wants more members.Satan wants more people, he knows that his time is almost up so he has released more demons to deceive people...people may try to ignore the changes that are happening right now...wars, famine, immorality etc, but these changes signify the beginning of the end times.
Just to respond to those who say, even Christians also do the same thing...the world will be surprised at the TRUTHS that we know about ETERNITY...Eternity is not a mythical subject, it is real...this explains why certain things happen without to be able to explain why they happen...
Look at what people will be saying in HELL:
Isaiah 14:15 "But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit. Those who see you will stare at you and ponder over you: 'Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world like a desert and overthrew its cities, who did not let his prisoners go home?'
All the kings of the nations lie in glory, each in his own tomb; but you are cast out, away from your grave, like a loathed branch, clothed with the slain, those pierced by the sword, who go down to the stones of the pit, like a dead body trampled underfoot."

I think that they fear losing people to a cult.
I studied Islam for over a year and Never thought of Converting.
I think it is people who are serious thinking of converting to Islam that should really study it.
It is good to have an understanding of different faiths.
I wish Muslims would open their minds to learn about Christianity, even though I doubt many would convert, but when all they listen to about Christians comes from the Muslim news or their religious leaders, it breeds extremism.
Peace!

Its if truth be told politics. an identical question could be dont the U. S. troops(I help the troops with the help of how) see that they are battling for oil and not democracy or weapons of mass destruction? despite if the question is sweet or incorrect (its right), there is/grew to become right into a huge adequate marketing campaign to portray the conflict as yet another difficulty relatively than the undeniable fact that the lie grew to become into considered because of the fact the actuality. you may if truth be told use something out of any e book on your own schedule and whilst human beings start up taking small products out of context relatively whilst the writing it self is obscure, its no longer that no longer user-friendly to curve the writing on your own needs.

They are deluded with paranoid notions of Islam, they assume that who ever request info wants to convert to their 'great' religon but the truth is most people want to know about whats causing all this bloodshed, what is there in the Koran which makes people blow themselves up and kill others inorder to reach paradise.

In the words of the Prophet Muhammad: "Every person is born with the innate religious faith (to submit to God Almighty)." Thus when an individual accepts Islam, he is not turning his back on any prior revelation but rather is returning to the original and true revelation of Allah and to his own nature as a creation of Allah. This being the case, Islam is your birthright

I applaud you for standing up & including Jesus in your question!! There is no harm in finding out about other religions. People jump to conclusions way to quick when someone else does something that they do not understand. Hang in there! Jesus IS the answer!!!

I think that's perfectly normal assumtion. I think people tend to assume that when other people are curious in a religion (or any other aspect, carrer, sport, hobby, etc.) that they're looking into it for personal reasons, and considering it.
So, if/when someone talks to you about converting, just tell them thanks, but you just want to read it for yourself.

Well i don't and we shouldn't because free will and live and let live are big things in Islam. but i guess maybe they just get so excited that someone is trying to find out something about our religion instead of being ignorant and believing the massive amount of lies there are out there about us that maybe they get a little over-enthusiastic.
