Schopenhauer addressed this in his On the Apparent Intention of Will, in that the choices one makes determines one's luck.
It really is true that a positive mental attitude will cause one to focus on successes and relative strengths, and with confidence and esteem, can apply these to become more lucky.
Something called the Power of Positive Thinking does assist a great deal, but the key is not to concentrate on becoming lucky, because that focusses the subconscious on the thoughts of bad luck which reinforce them. Concentrate on being fortunate, which is a reinforcing technique which confers the confidence to be lucky in the eyes of others.

i think it's the way of life between man and woman to be created equal and be lucky. the unlucky ones were the one who destroy themeselves like living under the bridge, well, they choose to be the unlucky ones LOL.

You mean like where we live ,how we live. In America we can pretty much decide how we want to live. In other countries I'm not so sure. How do you define lucky?

Must be because that all loving God that created us was playing favorites again...bastard that he is......
Or, maybe it is due to environment and timing?? If you ask me, this is only further proof that God doesnt exist...look at how unfairly wealth and luck are distributed around the world....

If you believe in reincarnation, you come back to hopefully learn from past mistakes. Wouldn't it be wonderful If we all did that in this life?

Hey! ive asked this qns to myself a million times. Its very easy.. god blesses those he loves.they r ironically branded ' unlucky' . but actualli every hardship makes each person stronger..n thru the difficulties they go thru they go closer to God..in the end..they win. God will definately give them wat they want..but they realli hv to work hard for it..n it will sustain..wat they r blessed with..will always be with them till the end.. n those who r 'lucky' will get things very easy.. n they wont treasure or appreciate it cos it came easy.. in the end..they'd loose wat they got...cos it nvr seemd precious for them to hold on to. Get my point? in the end.. i prefer to be 'unlucky' n be blessd with things that will be with me till the end..rather than to enjoy short lived happiness by being lucky..
