1st: Yes I did have unprotected sex with the woman that might be taking care of my daughter.
2nd: I know that the woman did become a mother around 8-10 months after intercourse w/me.
3rd: I know the mother's first or middle and last name.
4th: I know what county the baby was born in.
How do I use all of this to find the child that may be mine?
Also ( for those who may wonder) if I had known the woman was pregnant I would have done everything I could for her and the baby.
The mother, from the source that I heard this from, wants nothing to do with me and blames me for the pregnancy in the 1st place. She also, from hearsay, doesn't want me to have anything to do with the child. This hearsay comes from my sister who hounds me about finding my child, she doesn't realize that this means more to me than she'll ever know. My little sister WAS one of this woman's good friends, so I have no reason to doubt the information. Yet, I want to know the truth, and how to find it.

The first thing you should do is call the Attorney General in your state. They will be able to give you advice on what you need to do. My son has a child and we had to go through the AG so that he could start paying child support in order to see his son. It's not easy because the mother's have all the rights but children have a right to a good and loving father, no matter how their mother feels. Believe me it takes 2 good parents to raise a well adjusted child and your ex may not like you now, but later she will be glad for the help.

If your sister WAS one of the woman's good friends, then you can find out where she is, and petition the court for visitation rights after a paternity test proves you to be the fater. (DNA test)... Paternity tests are very expensive, my x didnt claim my daughter and requested a test be done and it cost him over 800 dollars....
You would probably end up paying child-support as well, but going by your remarks in your question it seems to me that you would have no problem doing such a thing.
As for the mother blaming you, dont let it bother you.... It takes 2 people to make a baby... She is just as responsible for the pregnancy as you are....
If you are that baby girls father, you have every right to see her and have her as a part of your life as the mother does..... Little girls need their daddys... I know, I was a daddy's girl!!!!
I wish you all the luck in the world.....
Have Faith, and GOD BLESS!!!!

Unless your name is on this little girl's birth certificate, the only way you are going to know for sure is to contact this woman and demand a paternity test. If she refuses, go through your legal system. Just because she doesn't want you to have anything to do with this child, doesn't mean she can enforce that. If you are the father, you have parental rights and rights to visitation as well as an obligation to help financially support this child. I commend you for doing the right thing....very rarely do men ever come forward wanting to take responsibility. God Bless and Good Luck!

Cora Beth. I asked a question approximately it a week in the past. Geneva sounds made up, and not very flattering. Rose sounds great, yet is somewhat boring. Abigail is an staggering call, basically no longer my well-liked. i like the nickname Abby nonetheless. Claire is high quality, yet I want Clara. Cora Beth is so attractive and female. i like the style you used Beth extremely of Elizabeth. My scores- Geneva Rose- 4/10 Cora Beth- 8/10 Abigail Claire- 6/10

if you think it could be yours, go ask for a paternity test or get it court ordered. that way you know it is yours and you can be a father to that child. be good the the child and get along with the mother because you will see her for the rest of your life and the child will be affected by it if you and mother dont get along

You have every right to sue her for a paternity test to find out if the child IS in fact yours. Then go from there, after you get the results.

Do you know where this ex-lover of yours lives? If so, you can petition the courts for a paternity hearing. Speak with a lawyer.

if you are hearing all this gossip, then SOMEONE knows where she lives! if you can't coerce these people into telling you, I'd talk to a lawyer to find out your LEGAL options, rather than right off hiring a Private Investigator. No matter what, I'd get legal counsel.
